Cheyanna “Young Latte“ Jackson A.k.a. Chocolate was raised in Richmond, California. Her roots are from Grenada, Mississippi. She would listen to recording artists like Etta james, Billie Holiday, and Toni Braxton. She just knew she wanted to sing. Cheyanna began writing poetry by writing her thoughts down one day. She later added some music and here we are. Some of the recording artist that have influenced her as far as hip hop goes are Lady Of Rage, Mc Lyte, and Lauryn Hill just to name a few ladies in the game. She has shared the stage with some of the bay’s hottest recording artists and music producers like Dap Daniel, Legacy Studios (Luigi), Madi Graw, Ten2win, Hustle Simmons, (Shay) Deffa Heffa, and Cuddie Mack. Cheyanna currently is working on new music but she does have a single that is available in all digital store which is titled "Money, Music, Maryjane". Her next single titled "Efin $hit Up" will be a upbeat type in ya face record, it's coming out on the Makk Recordings/Vicious Group Entertainment record label.
